    Insurance Quotes

Well as you most probably saw I previously wrote the initial hasle I had from Liverpool Victoria. Well rang Frizzell (apparently another no for L & V) and after getting a quote for 560 odd I asked if I could register the car using the chassis number upon where I was told they would only do this for new cars even though my brother-in-law got his Isuzu done this way.

well the gist of the story is I tried Adrian Flux, got a quote of £609 for comprehensive and 7yrs protected No Claims and registered the car using the chassis no without any problems...

                  Tescos, I'm 22, 1Y NCB, speeding conviction back in 2000, CAT1 alarm/immobiliser - £1300.

Adrian Flux ere actually the reason I got my surf - I checked I could afford to insure one and they told me £900 so I bought one. When I went back to proceed with the quote they gave me they had forgotten to include it was an import so the price more than doubled

Having been quoted £960 from Adrian Flux i tried Tesco's and have been quoted £463!!! I got her to repeat it several times and made her check the details again as i couldnt believe the difference, it seems Adrian Flux dont take into accoutn company car no claims discounts and Tesco's do. I have been driving company vehicles for 6 years with no claims so it made a real difference. Adrian Flux said they were giving me a 40% discount for the company car no claims but Tesco's seems to treat it as a "real" no claims discount. What a bonus!

Direct Line have just reduced mine to £393 so I'll stick with them! for the record I'm 34, clean licence, loads of NCB with a LU7 postcode, on street parking. I am quite happy with this but if anyone can beat it send me a private mesage!!
