How many of you went through the 2nd of those mud baths at the bottom of the hill where the Landys and Bikers were playing?
You know, the one Bio avoided?
I know the answer, I just want to hear it from you load of pansies....
Being up to the top of the bonnet in Salisbury mud was probably a little too adventurous for my alternator though....
tell me again how was the coffee yesterday while you waited at Chiseldon
Been there and got stuck and had to get pulled out .......
Seriously though hope your alternator dries out,it was nice to be able to put some faces to names.Eat.Sleep.Surf.Repeat.

spray the alt full of wd40 and leave and see if it helps.
Will get some more WD tomorrow and give it a go...
Luckily the recovery driver was (very) ex army and had trained on the plains, so we had a good chat about stuff... made the journey quite interesting."B.A." Baracus: "Talk to me, talk sense so I can talk back. Not all this jibberjabber like breaking the peace and all that."

We had fun, thats the main thing.
I wanted to get as far as i could under my own steam, as i didn't know when the end would come.
For future reference, readers, if the truck starts to rev up without any forward motion (almost like clutch slip) or won't change gear (auto)/let you engage drive without pressing the red button, you've probably only got max 30 minutes driving time left. The ecu will kill the engine when the last of the battery juice has gone.
Remember, no matter what you turn off, you can't stop the brake lights from working!"B.A." Baracus: "Talk to me, talk sense so I can talk back. Not all this jibberjabber like breaking the peace and all that."

And that second water bit you went through after the LRs and bikes were on the side, I so nearly followed you but dad said he didn't think getting stuck would be too clever and I didn't want my gearbox to get worse. (little did I know lol)Still Can't believe I own a Hilux

I need to get something which charges my phone while I'm driving so I can track the route. Then when I get a few together I can make something up to link the best bits.
I'll be able to go again after the 22nd of May, exams are over then!Still Can't believe I own a Hilux
