Oh ay.......just doing a few last minute repairs to the cb antenna or radio dependant on which one isn't working!!

I WILL BE COMING WITH A CB!!!! I just drilled the hole through the bodywork for that antenna Grrr

First and only casualty of the day. My fault for showing of in the mud. Alternator knackered! Waiting for AA in chiseldon. A few pics, will put them up when i get back... Whenever that may be! Good day out, thanks to Bio for showing us the plains, just need some rain now.

Casualty no. 2. My gear box shat itself on the M4.
Shat itself all over the exhaust pipe. Schmokey! I think tomorrow will be pretty oily. FML. Thought it was too good to be true that it was working nicely.

which one were you? lol, not the 3.0 with no exhaust? whats the actual damage?

Yep that's me, no silencers. Everything before them is still there though.
Seems to be p!ssing out where the gearbox meets the engine. Slightly annoying. Actually, it's f*cking annoying.

input shaft seal is my guess, must have been you leaving the trails of oil through the day, it probably ran itself dry enough to get hot and say bye bye. shame tho buddy, what you going to do with it?

Excellent day, thanks alot to the guides for showing us the plains, cracking job!! Would of been nice to have a bit more water but can't control the weather! Definately looking forward to the next outing!!

Chris had his bonnet up every time we stopped . and Alex was topping up his autobox .... the one that went bang on the way back to Bristol ....at a guess it's the front oil seal on the gearbox.Even the 3rd gen had to have a running repair as the pin that hold the front break pads in had stared to come out as the retainer on the back had broken .

oh hell thats a nasty leak, nice pics guys. funny how the 3rd gen was as clean at the end as it was at the start.......

Yep 100% sure. The engine oil hasn't moved one bit on the levels.
Also as time goes on the car revs higher and becomes slower. Points me to the gearbox.
