    • Everywhere was booked up months ago. Tried to book a couple of CC sites in late Jan and got nowhere. Even the CL's we tried were full. Gave up and booked for Mayday BH as that was fairly clear for some reason.

We got one of those 2 years ago Marky.
It gets used for every meal while we are away.
Does great eggs bacon, sausage and black pudding for breakfast.
It does chicken legs perfect, stir fries etc.
Dead easy to clean as well, ours still looks brand new.

The new springs bring the back up quite a lot but they will settle down.
Have you had van attached yet with new springs on?

                      • As long as the caravan is riding level or nose down, with the right noseweight for it, then you should be OK. Problems usually start if it's nose up, light noseweight and backloaded.

I believe the normal Surf towbar can take around 100-110kg noseweight, provided the caravan can go that high. If you are not sure, recommended caravan noseweight is 7% of MTPLM unless a lower figure is specified in the handbook or by the manufacturer.
