No room, had to go inside the rad. Still handled 200hp in one end of the gearbox, and turning 35" tyres other end just fine.
, but yeah, its more sensible that way.
The standard cooler in the bottom of the rad setup is good enough for most normal cars, only two or three loops of pipe, and its only cooled by the water in the rad, which will stay the same temp regardless of how hard the gearbox is working. Any multi row finned cooler in air is gonna be better than that in my opinion.
If anything, more danger of the gearbox running colder than design temps.
