              Yep, checked all the fuses. I've not been near it since Wednesday. Mark had a minor heart attack on Thursday, so been busy working and sorting stuff out for him.

                    Well...

                    Today I went round, put the key in the ignition, turned it and the truck fired up and ran without me touching the throttle. How very strange.

                    The only thing I can think I did was that on Wednesday, after I initially started it up, I reconnected that black wire. The truck fired up after it was connected. Yesterday, I tried with the wire connected, then disconnected; no difference. Today, it fired with the wire disconnected.

                    I'm changing the ignition stuff over just now, number 8 plug is a bit of a challenge

                    Number 6 is worrying me a bit more. When I removed the lead, the tube was full of water. Now, for some reason, I can't get the socket on to the plug. Can't see down the hole either, will check again (with a torch) tomorrow.

                    Managed to change the left hand cap and arm, that's a bugger of a job, unless I'm doing it wrong. If I get time tomorrow, I'll do the right hand cap!

                      If you are having trouble getting a plug socket on, the tube may have left it's rubber on the plug. This happened to me, so I booked the rubber out with...err...a hook.

                      Number 8 and distributor caps...yes it's hard.

                      As for starting up with no throttle and no cold start injector, that's how I started it sir. It took a minute to idle, but ran fine after.

                          Sounds a little like number 5 for the first minute or so until it settles down to a decent tick over.

                          Going to re-tax it tonight, now I'm getting out and about again, and it's off for a little run to Wales over the weekend I hope.

                            I need to sort out a front bumper and an MOT. I'm not sure if I want to keep the TJM (hence the swap ad). I might nip down to the MOT guy, just to get a handle on what I need to get it legal.

                              Noticed the Ad, and i have pretty much everything you want on there but I don't need the TJM and wheels might be sold in next day or so.

                              If you get stock on front bumper let me know and I'll get mine up to you, rear has got fog light mounted in it and I'm not to keen on so wouldn't put it your way, but rear quarters are almost brand new.
