Morning all,
I just made a short trip across the campo, all fine and motor started as normal. Reached my destination (10 min drive away) turned motor off and had a coffee. Went to restart after about 15 mins and after about 3-5 seconds of the eninge running it just cut out. The fuel/water separator light has come on. I tried again and it almost fired up, but pretty much died straight away. It's turning over fine but just won't start. I had actually replaced the fuel filter about 6 weeks ago so I am hoping that is fine, also when I manually pump the priming plunger it does get harder.
I checked the oil and it was pretty damn low, far lower than I would ever have my oil, but in fairness I'd not checked it for about a year. So I've just put about 4L of fresh oil in but still it won't start and the warning light is still present.
I've also checked all of the fuses I could find and they all seem to be good, as does solid connections on both batteries.
Help please, sods law but I'm due to finally put the motor through its last inspection to get it onto Spanish plates next week and with snow coming in I need my truck running.
