KZN185 Cut out & won't restart

Lol, sorry I had to dash out and didn't get to finish my message.

It seems that a piece of the original cabling had 'degraded' and become broken. I will actually go and see the guy this week and try and get more detail. Once he fixed it and put it back together he took it back to the 2nd garage I went to as they're helping me with the matriculation.

ITV next week hopefully then 3 week wait for new log book! Happy days. Perhaps if I make it down your way I'll buy you tubo for at least offering your help

Spoke to the guy who did the work and he said that it was actually the (or a) relay for the Thatcham immobiliser. It was malfunctioning so the part of it that controlled the fuel cut off aspect of the immobiliser stopped working.

As well as getting the motor back on the road an added bonus is that is now seems to start and stop quicker than it did before. Almost zero turn over before it starts and zero run-on when turning ignition off.
