4x4 engagenent is a no go

92, surf, ln130, 3" body, 4" suspension, richmond lockers front and rear, and all the other refinements.

i can not seem to get the 4x4 to engage.
there is vacume where it is to be.
there is power to where it should be.
the add works (i tested it)
i do not hear anything from the transfercase moter.
i checked fuses under dash and bonnet.
am i missing something????
can anyone shed some light on my problem.

Must be T/case motor then, you don't need us.

is there a on car test for the t-case motor or just take it off and test it on a bench

Yes, sort of. Just check for power at the blue VSV with the button pressed. Should be power at the brown VSV with button out. Having said that the ADD should not engage if the transfer case motor is not working.
