Realy need a PROP SHAFT
My rear prop shaft is dead, so I have been looking every where for a new 1. The only thing that i can find is preused parts. Have not yet went to Toyota Garage, as hoping to save some £££. If any1 has any ideas on where to get a new prop shaft Front and Rear plz let me know...

4x4 engagenent is a no go
92, surf, ln130, 3" body, 4" suspension, richmond lockers front and rear, and all the other refinements.
i can not seem to get the 4x4 to engage.
there is vacume where it is to be.
there is power to where it should be.
the add works (i tested it)

Heater control slider, disappears inside!????
Ok folks, so I've had a look around at old threads, but am no closer to a solution. Please help
The problem is, that when I slide the heater slider, it doesn't have the right movement because it has a piece missing, which it 'hinges' on, almost could be described as a 'bolt' shaped object....

Ok so if I Manually select 4wd, (by turning the mechanism by hand until it's completely engaged) and leave it engaged, I can use the free wheel hubs, to dis-engage the front wheels.
My question is: What will this do for my MPG, and wear'n'tear on the transmission, until...

I wonder if there is such a way, that the 4wd computer can be bypassed, to engage the transfer rod?
Being new to 'Real' 4x4's, I'm not exactly sure what is economically feasable, would I be right in saying, that the original hilux transfer case mechanism, was entirely mechanical?
