Does it do it at just at wide open throttle, regardless of the RPM? If so, go back the to the TPS, you havn't said if you swapped that yet.

Nope, its on the intake as it goes into the exhaust manifold, the other side from the throttle cable, and is worked by the throttle flap rod as you press the go pedal. Round black thing, with a elec plug on the side, pointing downwards.

Its adjustable, it twists from side to side, try moving it either way as it might just be off the contacts under full throttle.

According to the EPC you do not have a TPS on the Venturi for an '89 model.

I'm not sure. Could you be running out of fuel at full throttle? Boost is no good without the fuel to feed it. What boost are you getting?

Neil, do you still want the boost sensor? I 'm still looking for it!

I put it somewhere safe and now can't find it! If you see the state of my garage, you'd understand (ask The lovely boyo!)

neil this may sound like a really stupid idea, but have you run through all the fuel lines to make sure there is no air getting into the system.also try running without the air intake on the turbo.but i wouldnt do it for too long.
