How long do you think they'd continue putting up pump prices if everyone withdrew their labour for a few days in protest.

Ah forget it, no-one in these isles has a spine anymore.

Hands up who voted for the "Fair but we inherited all this debt so we'll target the weak and vulnerable most party-s" I seem to remember there was quite a lot here, well you were warned, if your not super rich and couldn't care less our cretin government are going to shaft you, that includes the workers, middle class, unemployed etc etc. H

Longer than it would take for my friendly bank to re possess my flat, its been tried before but the word solidarity doesn`t exist anymore sadly
I`d vote for the if you dont pay your way you dont get anything party, i`ve had it with paying taxes for people who cant be bothered getting off their ass cos they`d lose their benefits and to think i used to class myself as left wing

The last fuel protest were led by the Truckers.... Where are they now? There's loads going out of business but none of them have spoke up about Fuel Price Rises. Everyday car users are not going to get organised enough to make a protest that will matter. Let the Lorry Drivers lead the way. But where the hell are they?

They were put off last time when they were (legally) threatened with the retraction of their operators license, and arrest under anti-terrorisum laws.
It's strange when Egyptions have more rights to protest than we do.

It's now 132.9 round here. Absolutely shocking.

Been looking into doing my test & getting a motorbike for the day to day commute. Got the gear already, been riding pillion for years, about time I got my own I think. Not gonna get rid of the surf though!

Well here I'n driffield it's £1.40.9 a litre of diesel 12miles away I'n Beverley it's £1.39.9 a litre and 22miles away I'n hull it's £1.32.9 a litre thing is that's 3 different prices but all from total garages surely the price at one should be the same at another grrrrrrrr, agreed on a strike also agreed no one has the balls to organize one but being forces I wouldn't be able to support it officially but I'd be happy that it happened the last strike I was one of the unfortunate ones that had to escort the tankers out of the refinery can't remember the name of the place now but it was wales way that was an interesting time my opinion is on this country is stop being gobby thumbs out arses and stick together and sort this problem out. We seem to be the only country that get walked all over let them do it to us then complain after it's happened let's get a bit of national pride, a lot of patriotism and challenge these people. Sorry for ranting but these subjects get on my tits if people arnt willing to try make a difference.

I quite agree. Britain no longer seems to have a backbone! Unfortunately, if we do now speak out & try to be patriotic or make our own demands we are accused of racisim or discrimination. How or why I have no idea, but it seems to be the governments answer to everything nowadays.

If we can produce another one like Chris Ashton that would be just dandy.
