All you are really going to be able to do is fit an intercooler of some kind e.g. an L200 intercooler and raise the boost using the cheapy washer method. You will NEED to fit a boost gauge so you know that your turbo isn't overboosting. You Should fit a EGT gauge so you know that you are not burning your valves or turbo. Although this will make it better over standard, it's not going to make it a rocket or quick by any means.

As I said, depends on how far you are wanting to go. To fit the IC you're going to want airflow over it, so you need to decide on where to mount and the possibility of fitting a bonnet scoop to scoop air into it.

I never fitted an EGT gauge to the 2.4 I had. But will be doing this to my 3.0 before fitting an IC. I've fitted a boost gauge before turning my boost up, but the boost is already at 10-11psi so not sure if a previous owner did it already or what. So best to know what you are at before fiddling.

Lastly, I had a large amount of turbo lag on the 2.4. I could stamp on the throttle and probably count to 5 before I had full boost.
I also worked out whilst driving through france on the A type roads averaging 50mph that MPG was around 27. This is at best and was usually lower.
    Oh Nana, what's my name?

The gauge is shagged so you can have the boost controller for the nowt. PM me your address and I'll stick it in the snail mail.

Tony, I take it you didn't read the post Mark put in about the ECU cutting boost at ~10.5psi?

Whatever the hell you do beyond that doesn't matter a damn - the ECU WILL stop you.
