It is wierd really because it effects people slightly differently and is not only a spelling problem.
My ability to read is excellent, but the written word tends to fail me. I have got spell checkers so confused I've crashed computers, I've also had problems with words that I have actually spelt correctly but to me they look incorrect.
These are not excuses it's just the way it is, to spell a word you need to be able to "see" it, and to my very supportive english tutor in secondary school who always told me to use the dictionary if you can't spell it (or get even close to spelling it) you can't find it.Gone from 4x4 to 1x2

I'm not making excuses, maybe if they had specailist teachers in schools other than a few dyslexic lads been put in a seperate room and left to play board games and sit on the net, kids these days might have more of a chance. Atleaste a small amount of you understand, my spelling is bad, very bad and I struggle to fill out forms aswell, as easy as they are they confuse me, the last thing a need is the odd few people on a forum havin a rant over my spelling. For someone who struggles to spell a forum is the last thing u want to go on for 100s of people to see but iv made an effort. Your all big boys and I'm sure you can work out what I mean.

Albannach I don't mean this in a bad way and I'm not starting an argument (although u seem the type to take thing to heart, my spelling etc lol) but its people like u who don't understand and there for can't be arsed to or have the patience with dyslexic people, and if I used a spell check since school I wouldn't be able to spell a thing would I? I would be even worse, I still need to work spelling out 4 myself. Rant over lol no feeling hurt let's just crack on with the thread

Our only spell checker at school was the teacher! That's probably why most of us pre 'computer for every pupil' folk can spell, punctuate and construct sentances correctly.
I've lost count of the number of times folk on here use Dyslexia as an excuse to be tardy with their writing. Dyslexia doesn't cause incorrect punctuation or incorrect structuring and it doesn't cause the sufferer substitute numbers for words. That's just laziness.
As for calling a Surf a Jeep, wtf is that all about?
Anyway; aye, rant over. Bash on with the thread.Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's

Good for sand.
Quite good for rocks.
Neither of which we have over here.
Having said all that. Love my wide Kumhos, they look well sexy innit.
theyve also got me through pretty much everything I've driven through. (Deeeeep pits on the plains notwithstanding)

Mind you, if I was going to construct an 'offroad only' pay & play monster, a Surf is probably one of the last vehicles I'd start with! Open diffs (2nd gen 4Runner, right?), no centre diff, IFS etc etcCutting steps in the roof of the world
