If you have all those experts working on it with you, why don't you convert it to a solid front axle?

[QUOTE=BUSHWHACKER;580196]Yeah, they're still stiff, but great when the truck's loaded up.Originally posted by Apache View PostI STILL reckon if he's gonna chop loads of weight off the back end, LC springs will be way too stiff.
But then, no-one ever listens to me...

I remember when we fitted your L/C springs, the only bounce your truck had as in the tyres!

Reccers,
Sorry for late replies - got very bored when spelling mistakes were mentioned!
Did you mean you have fitted a 1 1/2'' body lift? Your post said 1/2'' - that's not worth doing. With 1 1/2'' body lift and 2'' suspension lift, 33'' tyres will fit - slight rubbing, trim the truck where you see it rub.
Apache is right - LC springs on a tray back won't flex at all - the truck will not be heavy enough. Put longer springs and shocks on and you'll be fine.
Ref. the tyres - 12.5'' tyres wander about on road, 11.5's do not, and they seem to work better off road.Another member of the 'A' team

Go girl !!!Originally posted by reecers View PostYour a diomond mate! That's all I needed to hear, ok everythng ordered now so friday is the day I pay someone to take a grinder to my car lol
One thing - when it's done you'll take it off road........
Then you'll want locking diffs (front, middle, rear) electronic of course.......
Then you'll want to do longer travel suspension - rear
Long travel suspension - front
Bigger engine......
In other words - you should have got a Cruiser lol

Actually, it sounds like you're going to end up with a beast - there's lots of peeps who talk the talk, but not many have the guts to take a grinder to their truck and walk the walkAnother member of the 'A' team
