Been speaking to the solicitor about the compo claim.He says Networkrail are refusing to pay an interim payment because they say i can work.There have also said they will not be making another offer above the £50,000 they already made.
I will now just let it go to court in November and take my chances there

He must think chances are good as he knew i was going to refuse the offer.
Networkrail are also dragging their heels as the solicitor has been waiting for 4 weeks now on details of what my pension should be if i stayed there till i retired.
I was really banking on the interim payment to help us out the shit especially as Mandy goes back to a 25hr week next month

a solicitor i knew who seemed a good solicitor got locked up for back hand deals on compo claims

I had a head on collision with another motorbike around 20 years back which left me with similar problems. Years went past without any positive results from the treatments and drugs recommended by the doctors.

Been on the phone with solicitor for the last half hour now discussing the claim.
He reacons that a court would probably go to a max of about 70k maybe a little more
Me and Mrs Storm will have to have a quiet chat tonight to see what we think the best thing to do.I think we may just ask to see if they will pay 80k and see what they come back and offer to pay before going to court
