Just one thing to say for anyone injured at work and thats don't give up fighting.Make sure your a union member and you will get alll the help free if the union supply a solicitor like mine did.Although i had to back down and swallow my pride 2 months before it went to courtbecause we were desperate for the money and we held out for as long as possible.
Just keep pushing all the way and try not to let things get you down as thats what they want to happen.
As long as you stay strong and keep fighting then you will get what ever compensation you deserve.
If your not happy with a diagnosis then push your doctor to send you to a specialist as i did and i finally got the answers i wanted.
BE STRONG,KEEP PUSHING AND THE MOST IMPORTANT THING MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A BL00DY GOOD SOLICITORhttps://www.facebook.com/groups/henpals/

After having an accident ( all be it a road accident through no fault of my own) the relief to all the family wen it was all done and dusted was emense. The money never makes up for personal hurt but does allow closure.
Glad things are sorted, time to take a deep breath and get on with life....
All the best, and heres to a new chapter..xso long and thanks for all the mud

Richard, congratulations on the payout, Im sure you deserve every penny and Im sure you are relieved that the whole thing is all over. BUT
Words of caution, and Im sure youve already given it much thought.
70K is not a life changing sum these days. To the majority thats 2-3 years wages. If things were bad for you before you got the payment, then unless used wisely and supplemented by a decent income from elsewhere, they will be as bad again in a couple of years. As Phantom said, some financial advice might be worthwhile. Dont give in to the temptations to treat yourselves to all the things youve ever wanted. Certainly, celebrate and treat yourselves a bit, but take care.

The main reason for us being desperate is that the surf parts has gone so quiet at the moment whereas before i was earning enough to keep us above water but the last couple of months has been very hard.
Since i got laid off last year we have been very lucky to of carried on this long before getting in the shite so now we can get back to normal now and have no worries about where the money is coming from for the bills even if it is for a couple of yearshttps://www.facebook.com/groups/henpals/
