Cheers Dave.I do make sure i'm not follwed when i go to the workshop and its 5m away.
I don't trust any of these toss3rs as far as i can throw them.
I am waiting on a appointment for another nerve block and its going to tell me whether i have definately got a back problem(sciatic) or if its the hip 100%.The only trouble with this nerve block is that it can improve things or make things worse so the Pain Clinic won't reccomend i have it done but are leaving the decission to me if i want it done to get the definate answer i have been waiting for for 5 years

Its certainly be a long battle but there's light at the end of the tunnel now.I lost my job over the accident back in June and lost my pension so all this will be claimed for plus hopefully another 20 odd years of loss of earnings.I wont be holding my breath on it tho and i'n still not making plans on how much or what the money will be spent on aprt from getting the truck sorted and lifted and making sure theres money to pay the mortgage and thats it.Hopefully at some point in time i will be able to cut out the pain killers etc i'm on but we'll see how time goes and what treatment i can get.
Thanks for all the comments guys as it does help perk you up a bit when you feel like crap.

Fingers crossed for you.
They do do anything to get out of paying including watching forums like this so do be careful what you write.

A guy on the bioduesel forum had his house insurers refuse to pay out £100K+ after a house fire because he hadnt informed them of his biodiesel production (which was in an out building and completely unrelated to the fire)
In proving how they knew this they produced copies of his posts on the biodiesel forum.

Latest update is thati have just had a letter from the solicitor and the court date has been set for the 15/11/10 and 16/11/10.I'm hoping this is just incase the claim is not settled out of court cause if not then we are in deep sh1t.The house,truck and everything will have to go.
I have been in touch with the solicitors and he will be ringing me on Monday for a chat to see where we go from here

Hi Rich, bobs idea is a goodun as (sorry to be a doom monger but) the other side now know they dont have to do a lot untill near the hearing date, even if they are planning to make a good offer to you they can save spending that cash outlay by not doing a lot till then and like everyone cash in the a/c is best, only sorry it is not in yours!!, I have a couple of thoughts but wouldnt post on here, give me a bell

Been in hospital again today for more treatment.
I have had steroid injections in the nerves very close to the spine to see if that helps the pain in the leg with the sciatic nerve.It will be a few days till i'll notice any change if any so i'll update as and when.

I've had them injections, the pain did ease after a few days, but came back when I thought everything was OK and lifted stuff again.

If this one don't work then there's one last lot of treatment they can try so i'm not giving up yet.
I know theres a chance that because they inject direct into the nerves there's a possibility that things could end up worse but i'm willing to take a chance

The pain is intense I know. I finally got it sorted in an unorthodox way.
But the pain was so bad I was willing to try anything.
