Chris you will have to lower the rad in yours as you've got a 2.4. If you dont then the rad will be higher than the rad cap and could cause air locks

That sounds harder then lowering the rad surround but if it has to be done then it has to be done

so the list to mod for a 1 1/2 inch body list is

      lower rad
      lift bumers
drill holes in bulkhead plate 2mm bigger to allow it to be lowered lower for steering column

and start lift on drivers side

      anything else

undo the fuel filler pipe in the rear wheal arch before lifting but remember to do it back up again after.(only need to slacken it not take it off)

unclip the brakelines from the body underneath near to where they go to the axel so you dont damage them

not sure if you need to do it but you may need to unclip the handbrake cable from the chasis before it goes to the wheels

Either Apache's truck was once lifted and then lowered before he bought it, or it's one of the easiest trucks to 'lift', 'cos the only two (extra) things we done when fitting a 2" body lift was to raise the front bumper and lower the rad!!!

Well now my steering column grommet has worn away anyway...

Must make a new one someday.

But isn't your steering column at max. adjustment anyway?

There probably wasn't a lot to play with, certainly not on the splines in the engine bay...
