This will not improve braking except for off road use to stop drums filling with mud .
I think the Landcruiser option maybe best but you would need to up the size of wheels to clear the calipers .
Landcruiser basic wheels are the same size as the Surf, are they not?

I generally have trouble leaving the pub, rather than stopping leaving.

always thought Landcruiser rims were 16"...

Supra rear discs with some considerable massaging will fit the rear... I remember there is a kit somewhere to convert the rear axle...

and the Landcruiser master cylinder... you might want to try this option first....

Dog_Book, where did you get the grooved discs and decent pads from?

It’s a well known fact that alcohol slows your reactions….. are you sure your poor stopping performance wasn’t down to the booze

I'll check on the ones in the shed. Think they're fifteens, but I may be wrong.

try a home made conversion... stick front disks and calipers on the back...
i'll try and get pics from suzuki if i remember next time i walk past it.

but the gist of it is... erm... cut off drums and gubbins... bolt on disk and make a bracket to mount the caliper... it really was that easy...
but it wasn't intended for on road.
