Anybody done a job on replacing the Radiator (+thermostat), and/or the heater matrix on the VZN185 3.4L ??

Have parts arriving next week and wanted to see if it is a pain in the ass or not, as to whether I sub contract the bother to the local garage or just do it myself

Hi, got a 94 KZN130 and it's slowly giving up on me.

Blowers have been getting a little finnicky about whether they want to blow or not, used to only work if I could get the switch to sit inbetween the selections (I could hear the relay ticking away in complaint) but they always worked....

Can anybody let me know the internal diameter of the heater matrix pipes that run from the block through the bulk head to the heater?

Ok folks, so I've had a look around at old threads, but am no closer to a solution. Please help

The problem is, that when I slide the heater slider, it doesn't have the right movement because it has a piece missing, which it 'hinges' on, almost could be described as a 'bolt' shaped object....

I have just bought my first Surf, a '96 3L and so far all is great...except that this morning it was a bit chilly so I put the heater on and nothing...well..not exactly nothing, the fan was blowing cold air on me!

I have noticed that the engine temperature gauge never really gets going...
