I have got the shocks, springs and panhard rod for the lift, I just need to get the torsion bars now...

and then am gunna try (really hard) haha and fit sum new 10x8s and khumos before i cum up...

Hello everyone, well the snow hasn't built up as expected so fingers crossed we get plenty before we all arrive up there. I was even thinking of pushing the dates back to March when we stand a better chance of getting good snow.

I'd like everyone who can definitely make it on the proposed dates to let me know and I'll book the wigwams at Tyndrum (http://www.wigwamholidays.com/Strath...Wigwam_Village). There has been a bit of interest in this from the lads and lassies at scottishmudclub but places are open to all here first as this was the first forum the plans were made on.

so get your names down and lets have some fun.

schedule as follows

all to arrive at Stirling service area by 2pm on friday 13th feb 2009
make our way in convoy to Tyndrum wigwams, get fed a watered at local pub.
Saturday 14th (kiss the missus if she's with you) make our way to the mountains, option to snowboard, sightsee and build snowmen. If conditions won't allow access onto mountains then a short tour of the glencoe and cairngorm ranges to get the pics and enjoy the scenery.

Sunday morning head off early to Drumclog. Anyone not wanting to offroad their own vehicle will get a lift with others who do, usually plenty of spare seats in other trucks. A good turnout by the scottishmudclub is expected and you will see a diverse range of very interesting and capable offroaders.

Sunday is also the end of our trip and I would suggest that those with long journeys home either leave early or arrange a local hotel or B&B to stay the sunday night and travel home on the monday.

Costs for this trip will be kept to a minimum.
Wigwams are £11 per person per night.
Snowboarding tickets are around £20 per day (does not include equipment hire)
Drumclog drive is £20 per vehicle (not per person)

add in your fuel costs and food and drink and organise your budget round this.
once everyone who wants to come has let me know I will book the wigwams (already provisionally done) and accept payment to my paypal account.

you know what i have just thought,

av never been off roading before, not properly, i have played on a muddy field and that was about it, i dont wanna be coming up there and tipping me truck over or nothin hahaha

well with the current condition of the truck, with her being on life support and all I am not sure if I am going to make it....

Hope I will get another truck sorted soon because I do want to get up there some day sooner rather than later.....
