we live in littleport, near cambridge. will anyone be heading up to blackpool this october? i know some of you did last year, but we were at the mercy of vosa waiting for the vic check! we love taking the kids to see the lights every year! usually go in september, but with both boys in full time school, we will probably go in the oct half term.

Why do you need vic check?

Why do you need vic check?

Have recently been in touch with vosa after a small bump which left me with a write off.
As long as car is insured, taxed and has MOT it can be driven legally while waiting for the vic check.

Hi, bought it as stolen/recovered, so had to re-register it. Wouldn't have been so bad, but had to wait 4 weeks for the blooming appointment as the peterborough office is always busy. that was in sept/oct last year, on road lovely now, apart from blowing the head in may. oh well, the money we saved buying it cheap as s/r payed for the head! and we were at least warned, some very nice people on a certain forum told me!

Hi all.
The field for this years SRTTS camping/caravans has been booked.
I have booked it for the weekend of the 7th 8th and 9th September.Its the same as last year at the moment £5 per tent per night and £10 per night for caravans and anyone who wants to sleep in the surf is also £5 a night.Kids and dogs are welcome again as long as they are kept under control as there are tractors and other machinery going to/fro from the farm and dog s under control and kept in the paddock as there are free range chickens in the fields surrounding the campsite.
I have booked the same pub as last year for the meal on the Saturday evening .
I will have to book porta loo's closer the time as last year so the final price for those i will notify you closer the time.
We have got some lanes to go out on for the Sunday if anyone wants to do them it will take 3-4hours to do.
The off roading is now booked up for the Saturday but due to the idiots from the local 4x4 club last year i will not invite them again and the price for the off-roading will probably be £20 per vehicle.

This is the list for September so far so if anyone else wants to join us then put your names down.You can join us just for the day off roading or for the full w/end.

Anymore wanting to join us for the RTTS this year as i need the total numbers for the pub meal on the saturday evening by the 25th of this month please as the pub can cater for 60 in 2 sittings and i will need to put a block on the meal.There are about 46 people so far for the meal so you need to get in quick.
You can still just attend the off roading and the laning if you don't want the meal in the evening
