The man from Hoeseasons says yes we can park the company car and trailer in the car park(at our own risk).

So thats 1 Surf, 1 Suzi + Trailer, 1 Astra 6 various people and lots of fun

It would be good to know were we all going to be so we can meet up etc , possibley do a Surf train ( and my Astra) to the site etc , especialy when leaving . 11 or more mud covered Surfs going through town might turn a head or two .

Geoff's busy working for next couple of days, but we'll post a provisional agenda soon... The idea is to leave it flexible enough for people to please themselves, with a few planned events to get together at as everyone is staying for different periods...

Provisional Agenda

Proposed agenda is...

Friday 9th evening - meet for drinks and some food... (Geoff researching venues)

Saturday 10th - Robin Hood's Bay Off road centre (times to be agreed nearer the date (10 cars = £10 each) Please PM me if your up for this as I need numbers to book it)
An alternative would be some Greenlaning - Geoff has a route.

Saturday night - Meet for a few beers and some food. (Geoff researching venues) MRS SUMO's BIRTHDAY!!!!

Sunday 11th - Langdale Quest. Geoff is awaiting the full details of what they are offering us, but it looks like being a full day pass with the freedom to choose which route (2 hour/3 hour etc) we do, some play time to try some of the more challenging stages for those interested (or with off road toys) + BBQ lunch in the forest somewhere (supplied by us).

Currently the majority of those attending are staying at Hoseasons Whitby Holiday camp.... This includes
Linda &Tony, Pops & Terrie, Nigel & Julie, The Sumo's, Jotto, the Vagrant and their crew, Rob & his mate. Geoff is bringing his family and is intending to camp close by... Marky is staying at a campsite nr Pickering. Not sure where others are staying but if you PM me I will update this post!

We will arrange convoys etc nearer the time when we have full details of where we need to be at what time. The intention is to leave people freedom of choice about joining in or not.

If you have any questions or suggestions feel free to ask!!

Right!! Been busy for a few days...so just time for a quickie....

Had a discussion with Langdalequest...& for £24.50 each ,we get to use any of the routes including the extreme trails. Hopefully this will include some new tracks not used before .
The greenlane I had in mind was south of Scarborough(from an early edition of Total Off Road) & is probably not suitable when we are staying at Whitby.
I have got some lanes marked on a map in that area & I will try to get Ship to investigate them with me.
Langdale Quest want a deposit (paid on a credit card)to confirm the booking. I will send you all a pm with my details & if you send me a chq I will pay this for you.
I reccomend the £24.50 option (£22.50 & £2 ins.) as that will give us the freedom of the site for the day.
Apart from Marky you are all staying at hoseasons except...Derek T M (daytripper) ,Ship & I are camping somewhere in the area .I think that just leaves Hormygollop to check in.
