    Excellent!

Would be interesting to know how that goes.
I guess it shouldn't be a problem as you haven't chopped up a monocoque type body so won't need an IVA test?

Damn you Brian, I've got all this stuff going on in my head now regarding old Surfs and a reciprocating saw!

Yep that's my thoughts on the IVA issue.

Now lookout the saw and clear a few months from your work calendar.

I love those old FD Victors and Ventoras. For all the hard work that they've put into that, though, IMHO they would heve been better building a two door coupe. (Like GM nearly did. See pics).

                • Sun-visor checked for fit, will be painted before fitting.

Brian cut up the old roof skin to make infills for the sides, it will add stiffness to the side boards.

First fit of boards, will get final shape once bonded.

All the gaps will be filled with aircraft epoxy and sanded to a smooth finish before applying bonding primer and then the speedliner coatings.

                      • I was gonna ask if anyone recognised the shape.

Cool, so a four door would offer a slightly longer bed?

Not sure mate, I thought the bodies are the same dimensions on the two and four doors. I have kept enough cab space to put the seats all the way back and the ability to recline further than I will ever have them when driving.
It's 2.2m diagonally across the bed. I will fit roll bars so I can carry 3m lengths of steel.
