Decided to put the 2" procomp rear coils in today. I was doubtful as to whether they would actually provide 2" of lift and i was right. I did get about 40mm (1.5"). Still, its not too bad. I just get the feeling when i put the balljoint spacer in, it will leave me a soggy rear again. So i have 15.5 inches from edge of rim to wheel arch, which isnt bad. Anyway, i dont know how to post pics between the text, so i'll post pics with a little description.
      Cheers
      Del

Firstly, i jacked up the truck from under the rear diff and placed jackstands under the tow bar crossmember. I would recommed placing them under the chassis rails as far back as possible, but i didnt have room. Then i removed the wheels.
First pic shows the rear brake lines undone. This really helps,as it prevents the flexible line form being too stretched as you lower the axle. Disconnected the Lower shock mounts and the sway bar end links. Also diconnected the LSPV end bracket as it was going to be spaced at the end. Thats about it for diconnecting. I then lowered the axle enough to pull out the springs.

Next, i had to remove the old springs. The are Milner ones and i actually found them to be very good for the price. Had them 2 years and they were still good. If anyone wants them they can have them for free. Just asking for postage. Removed the springs by loosening them with a Lump hammer, then pushed down on the hub with my foot and pulled them out, and the same with the other side. This pic, shows the coil removed. You can also see the sway bar link disconnected.
The second pic shows the old and new coils side by side. The procomp ones are about 1" longer and 1mm thicker (as measured with vernier calipers)

The next step was to install the new coils. Tried to get them in without compressing them, but was having too much trouble, so i rooted outthe compressors i'd bought when i did the Milner coilsand squished them down by a couple of inches. Its quite a scarey process compressing springs. I could just picture the compressor slipping and going through my head. Anyway, if you're careful and kepp the compressors on opposite sides of the spring and tighten them about 5 turns on each side at a time, you will be fine.
Before i put the coils in, i took out the rubber seats at the top and bottom and cleaned them. I also took measurements around the upper bumpstops etc if i want to make some coil spacers later. After that, just pushed them in and seated them correctly, undoing the compressors in the same careful way i did them up. This pics shows the new coils in.

Finally, i jacked the axle back up and reattached the shocks, brake line and sway bar links. Now because the rear axle is spaced 1.5" further from the chassis than before, the LSPV (Load sensing proportioning valve) had to be adjusted. The LSPV basically senses what sort of load there is in the rear of the truck and adjust rear braking accordingly. It now thinks that there is less wieght in the back and this would affect the braking. To counteract this, the end bracket can be spaced up by the same amount as the lift, i.e 1.5". This will maintain the stock geometry. I fashioned a spacer from some steel, with four boltholes spaced 1.5" apart. This can be seen in the pic below. Thats about it. I put the wheels back on and went for a little drive to settle the springs a bit. The second pic is of the final result.
