Been at it again today, just stuck it on top for a pic to give some idea of how big it is compaired to the engine, i've since removed both air pipes and it will sit a little lower than the pic but not much,
one question for you guys who've fitter one is- i assume you just reconect the small tubes? (pic of the EFI part in the vice) together, this part has a small steel pipe welded to it and the small hoses connect either side, thinking of replaceing it with one longer tube this sound OK?
Another question is can i start the engine with turbo disconnected, in my rush to get started on this i forgot i needed to back the truck out to remove my pit boards, as this will be a good time to remove the AC stuff and i'm gonna need to get under it, i would only need it idleing and dont intend to rev it enough for the turbo to come on, but even so it'll only be pushing air to nowhere, cant see a prob but though i'd ask
Too young to die and too old to give a toss

You need to re-connect the small tubes together, as you'll have no 4wd, amongst other things. (I found that out the embarrasing way!)

You can start the engine with the turbo hose off, just don't let any dust or dirt near the open end. (makes a lovely tishhhhhh sound if you rtev the engine!)

Yes, 5-6" i think, the four of em just fit in there nicely, i need some s/steel mesh to bolt on top of the cooler and then bolt the fans to that, give a nice blue light through the front of the scoop
