that just leaves 1 wheel stud to replace, engine oil to change, and atf to change (hopefully all on saturday)

why i just asked the same question in general. I finish about 5-6 am sunday morning..yeah i know mate it sucks. give me a chance for a quick bath and a change of clothes and lets offski huh?

Right. Off to to Wales on Sunday. I have leads, drive belt, insurance and mot...but no tax. There wasn't a log book available for the surf. I've applied for one but dvla reckon at least another week. If I get nobbled by a copper for no tax on the way home, how much can I expect myself to be fined for?

The back tax (from when it was last taxed), plus £80, plus a fee for costs.

Could solve a lot of your woes. Just run it out of one of the grommets in the engine bay of your Lexurf.
I wouldn't have it exiting over anything hot though if I were you.
