  • Fitting fuel pump 2nd gen 3.0

    Anyone did this job before, anything I should watch out for or any tips/links I could use?

        you need to remove timing pulley no.2 first as well.

          You will need a long bar to go on the threaded part and give the pump a good hard hit to release it as it is tight as a tight thing.
          Make sure the small bracket on the rear of the pump has been taken off aswell or you will never get the pump off.Leave the nut on the thread and leave a couple of mm gap just so you can see the thread before hitting it
          The 2 nuts in the top of the pic Kerr put up are 12mm.The one nearest the block is an awkward little shite as you can only turn it about 1/4 a turn at a time

            piece of cake to do when theres is no head,rad and all the other bits and pieces are out of the way your right Rich that 12mm nut between the pump and block is just a tad awkward

              Job was pretty easy, I had stripped lots out to make access easier, thanks for the info guys.
