newbie 4wd problem with pics

The weird thing (and the reason no-one but Nev is chipping in) is that there are very few 2.8s in the UK (I think Surfenstein has one, may be worth a PM).

4runners did very badly here and I have never heard of a 2.8 4runner. Is it a re-badged Surf? It's kind of irrelevant, but I'm intrigued. Doe the V5 offer any clues?

Hi guys.

did this ever get sorted out? I'm having the same problem. i've read through all this, gone down and tried things from on here, was at a 4x4 garage y/day, and he said there doesnt seem to be any probs with the mechanical side, all vac's workin fine etc. Just nothing happens when i press the button, no click, no light, nothing.
is there a fuse that i cant find (hoping it is as simple as that) and how and which is the correct relay to check?
as i said, no noise, no click from the 4wd computer, nothing...?!?!!
