he does, but it will cost a lot more than a head will. i think for a new head it is about £700 with no labour so call it over a grand for a new head. a new engine would cost (maybe) 3 times that about

Not even god could fix a 2.4 head with a bit of welding. It's got an inherent fault that will make it keep going. It may sound a bit weird, but if the garage won't put it right, you may be better off selling the truck as a breaker and buying a new one. As prices approach zero for all of them, the value in fixing them is (sadly) diminishing.

As much as i can tell you love your truck, in my opinion, the best thing to do would be to put it to one side until you can afford to fix it, brave the metro... it will get you from A to B with no further damage to your truck!
Having had the heads go on both the trucks we have owned, i saw the damage it did and how expensive it was to fix! It can also do alot more damage to leave it and drive it around, which means more money to save and maybe longer to wait until you can afford to fix it!
This is just my opinion!
hope you get it sorted soon!GO TEAM SLEDGE

Once I've checked the cooling system on mine, if it still overheats, I'll be breaking it and getting a new one.Do you know that, with a 50 character limit, it's
