right work this one out.
i disconnected the bleed valve completely, re wired the pipe as factory and drove the car. the max boost was 7psi! i thought great the actuator works as it should.
so i took the bleed valve off and put one end in my mouth and blew whilst unscrewing the screw eventually air was able to be released into the next part of the hose.
i blew into the valve the side the actuator was connected to. so i thought ah the previous owner must of put it on the wrong way round. so i put the bleed valve back on, and swapped the hoses round. then i was back to square 1 again. no matter where i screwed the adjuster the boost always went to 14psi. so i got the hump and ripped it out in a rage
i put the washers back, so now im getting 9psi.
its strange because although im getting less boost, the car feels to drive better for it. it may be just me, or because i used to have to hold the throttle half way to stop it over boosting, i dunno.
im debating weather to put the 3rd washer back or just leave it at 9psi.
ive been fitting my steering wheel, so im pleased about that anyway. only thing is now the indicator dont click off like it used to.. not sure what ive done...
cheers again for your help earlier
