That cylinder isn't firing, because the injector isn't working, or working very badly at best.

Can't find anything on milners or roughtrax, so you may have to go to toyota main dealer, you will need to give then engine and chassis no's for their database, but then thy can locate your specific vehicle and tell you which factory it came from,

not sure but mine need doing soon, i got quoted £80 by eurocarparts, but i reckon i can get them a fair bit cheaper. Other option is to remove and take them to a specialist for re-conditioning. I'm not sure if milners or roughtrax do them, or TonyN on here can probably get them.

Sounds like if I tried to do some work on an engine. Dad, is that you?

If replacing glowplugs and/or the fuse, I would strongly recommend disconnecting the batteries first. Going on the above, we probably want to avoid a thread along the lines of 'arms blown off by electric shock, am I in trouble?'

You forgot to tell him where the batteries are.

Give Diesel bob a ring, he services all my injectors, you need a 22mm socket to get the bottom half of the injector out, stick it all in a bag along with the other 3 injectors (use a 22mm socket to get them out, or you'll leave half behind again)

Full set of recon injectors will cost approx £150.

And get a workshop manual next time!!
