I hope all's well with you mate... This parenting lark's full power, ay? Jeez, I'm running on fumes!

I've been notified that the fan coupling has come in to Roughtrax. Do you think it's worth getting it and going ahead or is it now a pain? If it's a easy job to fit, without undoing what you did the other week, it might make sense to do?

I'm gonna get the rocker cover gasket soon, just so it's on hand as soon as i get the engine bay cleaned.

Yea get it mate, if a jobs worth doing do it properly, we can sort that at the same time as the rocker gasket.

have sourced 3'' s/steel dairy tube,but can only get it in 6meter lengths,
stringer has said he take whatever i dont need off me

lol,I'm sure he would. You should of gone to CDP like I told you, I'm pretty sure the last time I purchased some 316 dairy tube they did It In 3mtr lengths. Don't forget you need short elbows not long swept elbows when you get them and this is the silencer you need, just type the description with part number into e bay.

yep,pretty sure i got a good price on it though! and i need a bit more ,as i dont want it coming out the side,but out the back,mid rear bumper,like growler's one.

Mark, picked up the fan coupling today... Barry said it's the only one they have until October! Aisin are having to make more. Roughtrax have an order for 20 but I just about got in there first! Boom. It's in the truck.

Are you at the workshop tomorrow? Might pop over with my mate Rion to say how do's?

Spoke to Ivor Fortune earlier and he's fine to steam clean whenever really, just needs a couple of days notice. I'm thinking it would be best to get it cleaned, then do the gasket straight away? Wondering how you're fixed the weekend 04/05 July? Would you be up for doing the gasket and fan coupling then? I would aim to hang around and try to be useful!! Let me know what you think and I'll set the wheels in motion... I guess it could happen this weekend, but no hurry, it depends on your commitments mate.

Ok cool, Legend! Perhaps I'll see if I can organise it for this weekend? How much time do you reckon you'll need for the two jobs? Is there a day you'd prefer? If i got the steam clean Thursday, do you think driving it for a couple of days will be a problem or not really?

Family life is full power bro! Finding it quite difficult to juggle work tbh, my hearts at home with my wife and daughter mate, but other aspects of life need attention too! Thanks for asking! Big respect to all the parents!!!

If you can sort it for this wkend then great. I can do both jobs for you at the same time, well one after the other anyways. should only take a few hours. Saturday is good for me, The oil leak is not that severe so you should be ok for a day or two.
