Funny that because parrot stringer and I were discussing where the ball joint spacer had come from. Stringer though I had bought it in, parrot thought stringer had bought it in and I thought parrot had bough it in.Turns out that none of us had seen it before or indeed had anything to do with it. So none of us had any idea where it had come from or how it got in the workshop. Strange. Im not around saturday, grandaughters birthday.

right, mark. thats crystal clear now. my bad,i thought it would be better to fit the +2 bars for the sake of keeping the ride quality. (opps )
i kinda like the idea of ''bum up,nose down'' to be honest,so i'll make 1 1/2'' spacers to go with the new springs i got. Barry's fine for me to return the bars, anyway, and i can get the corner bumpers i so desperately need ,anyway.
im over on saturday,to see stringer, anyway, find out what to do about these BJ spacers.slight mod to the drawing, and program shouldn't be a problem.
oddly enough, there is a place on ebay that sell them, and they don't fit either, according to the (negative) feedback.
do you know where the batch that i copied came from, just out of interest?

Scott you will need +2 shocks for the front if you fit the +2torsion bars.and ideally +2 shocks on the rear , but because your surf has such a saggy arse, when you fit the spacers to the rear springs it should bring the truck back up level as standard,so no need to change the rear shocks. but now you are fitting THE TORSION BARS TO THE FRONT the truck will now be higher at the front, giving you what looks like a saggy arse.again. I thought you were just going to fit the spacers on the rear and adjust the standard torsion bars to bring the truck level.

ok,so if i'm reading this correctly, the 2'' over torsion bars i've got,are not any use to me?
i know you can fit the 2'' springs with the standard shocks,at least ,thats what it says on the RT website,so the standard shocks with spacers, shouldn't be any different ,surely.
should i take the torsion bars back to RT ??
    (sweet pic's,Ian)

Devon 4x4 are procomp agents, just tell them wether its es 9000s or 3000s you want, the length you want open and closed and wether it has an eye or stud fixing top or bottom. Or go rough country or king do some awesome shocks too.
