Probably a bit sad but it didn't cost a fortune.
My nickname has been Bonk (because of my surname) since I was eleven years old. My initials are MB and I managed to get M 80NK B.
I like it anyway and it makes people (young and old alike) smile when they see it and I'm doing no harm.
Some people say it makes it impossible for the speed cameras to distinguish your plate properly when you mis-space the digits and that's why they don't like you doing it but I know from personal experience this is bollocxcxcxs because I had a ticket for speeding whilst wearing these plates.

There is an industrial supply company up here called Thomas Potter, on one of their vans they have the reg "TH05 POT", I just read it as "toss pot"!
I have a plate that reads FCK 442S, it means nothing as far as the letters are concerned, but the plate was originally on one of my old race cars, and means an awfull lot to me sentimentally.Cheers,
Sean

Theres a taxi round here with the plate 1 XAT, looks great in your rear view. I've also heard of but not seen the plate X351 ANA, another one for the rear view, lol.
There is a rumour that back in 1989 a young lady bought a new Ford Escort, when she went to collect it from the main dealer it had been given the registration of F69 UCK, she refused to take the car unless it was re-registered (how could you refuse that!).
A guy I know has a Corvette with the plate MOP4R
