I know personalised plates aren't everyones cup of tea, but after having my eye on H1 ULX on the DVLA website, and saying that I couldn't justify the cost, my wife actually bought it for me, as a present. It wasn't that expensive, and like money in the bank, I can always sell it to pay for the new head that I may need at some time in the (hopefuly distant) future. Anyway, I like it.

I know I'm not generally the biggest fan of personalised plates, but that, MWS, is cool. Without a doubt.

EDIT: Wife's just accused me of having double standards.

I did see BAY70N for sale (Bayton - my surname) but as it was over £30k i didn't buy it, I can't see it ever selling as I've never met another person outside of my family with that name and my family are all paupers!

I've posted this before (on here). I reckon they were just lucky to get it.

While I would love a personalized plate, all the ones I'd like aren't being released. i.e. P155 OFF or F110 KOF.

I did own J5 FKU for a while (the 5 had been altered to look like an S, so it kinda read JuSt FKU)

I have seen H6 RNY round here. I do like the idea of the short plate, 3 lettersand one number always look good.

Changed my mind about buying one when I found out that no matter how much you pay, the DVLA can still take them back if they decide to do so, you only pay for the ability to display it not to own it
