Jeez, seems like a lot more than i thought, been a bit of a sh*t summer for it mind, take care out there you lot or the bastids will have you..........

Used to do a lot of motocross till i fecked my knees to often, so now i use them for tarmac surfing instead of using them as suspension linkages!!

Some real nice bikes in amongst this thread, any more, or is that it?

Jeez not good cutting fingers of mate, hope you can get back on yer bike soon, i know i would miss it badly not being able to get for a ride, good luck with your surgery.
Tim, do you do any racing? mind you you live in the right place for it, been there a good number of times at the TT, a bad year this one though for deaths, if you nip down to the point of Ayre with your leathers on i should be able to see you from the Isle of Whithorn LOL!!

& Steve, bet your glad to be back on a bike, just don't leave them again!!

        Ciao for now.
Oh yes you bet - do the manx grand prix every year! Not this year - moving house!

Mines an old Honda VFR750FG brought in from Italy last year (no rust) the other is a Yamaha TZR250 which decided to eat a piston last November, and has refused to work since (although in seven years of ownership it only had one service and people say two strokes are unreliable).

              Aprilia RSVR

I think it has to go tho, not much call for a 170mph bike on the Isle of Wight...

Good taste Stevie, bit of a shame you live on such a small island though with a painfully low speed limit i believe........

Self imposed by the locals - around 35mph, regardless of limit!

Its getting better tho - we now have a stretch of dual carriageway

170mph om the IOW !! The mind boggles! I get down to the IOW at least once a year on the bike and the old military road has to be one of the most "interesting" roads I've ever ridden on, almost get seasick riding along it...

Sold my TL1000s Suzi last September, if I could pick I think it would be the Mille RSVR, definately another big twin but probably not a Duc. - you cant leave them anywhere!
Had loads of bike over the years but the TL was the best.

I know its been a while since you posted this question but I have just joined the realms of Surf ownership.
I have a 03 Falco, the best bike I have ever had. Carbon belly pan, R&G bungs and a pair of fab sounding Quill cans compliment the noise from the derestricted airbox.
Still looking for the reg F4 LCO ,or APL IIIA, 2 chances, slim and none I think !.

Must admit I have never noticed this post before. I have a Honda STX1300 Pan (mainly because I am not flexible enough to ride a Fireblade). Didn't realise there were so many bikers who owned Surfs - or should that be Surfers who own bikes.

The Falco is quite an under-rated bike and offers the best of both worlds with an ability to scratch and to tour on, i am just about to do a deal on a new Tuono Racing coz the Surf is toooooooooooo slooooooooooow!!

Seems surfing and biking go together judging by this thread.

Hopefully we get a summer to enjoy them and take care out there, if you ain't been to Scotland yet you should pencil it into your calander, i am organising a trip for 16 of us all on Aprilias doing a round tour of this fine country, kicking of on the 2nd of July, can't !!!!!! wait!!

                              S'been a long winter.
