I found MOTOX to be safer than riding on the road as there are more lunatics about. at least you know the risks as you can assess the land you are riding on

yeah, know what you mean. we try and get out for a few hours on a sunday, i make a joke out of it, i say we spend 4 hours out on the bike and 4 hours out the hospital, as one of the kids always comes off. but its great fun, thats what inspired me to get the surf as everything wouldn't fit in the suzi. looking for a bike trailer now so we can take a couple of bikes out. (i'm always fighting with the kids, stamping me feet IT'S MY GO! IT'S MY GO!, I BOUGHT IT SO IT'S MY GO!)

I want a V-max. I've asked Santa for one for the last 5 years. I'm beginning to think he doesnt exist really, either that or the wife just pretends she's posted the letter to him. My last bike was Kawa Z1R, unfortunately that was 20years ago.

Hi all, i got a 21year old Z1000R2 Looks Like the Lawson rep. Metalic Black with with polished rims, polished yokes and sliders, polished casings, polished stainless exhaust and race can, deep braced swingarm. Love it to bits and would never part with it. just treated it to new rings. Used to do rallies all over but now work weekends so play with toyota instead. Also had a Blackbird for a couple of years but sold it to finance 6monthsAussie trip.

              Hi Jon.
Have you got any pics of your Z1000R2, like to have a look at your beast mate.

I sold my 1998 FireStorm to get my Surf. Boohoo. I've had an AR125, CM125, 2 x Shadow 500s, a GSX750ET, FJ1200, CB-1, and the FireStorm. 2 kids and arzeh0le car drivers put me off bikes. I might get a dirt bike in the future, after I get my fishing boat, new PC, trip to Alaska, etc...

                    Currently got 3:

                    '02 CBR600 F-Sport
                    '93 ZR1100 Zephyr
                    '80 GS750L

Also considering at the mo an early ZZR-600 for the work commute (CBR is a minter, ZR has too much chrome, GS not really any good on motorways). I think the GS will be going at some point soon.

Done a few track days, including 2 at the Ron Haslam school on both the 600's and proper Blade's. Favourite track is probably Oulton.
Everything's easy, when you know how!

I got me a 2000 R6 which I bought new in blue of course! Standard motor but it's got dark tint double bubble screen ,colour coded hugger and single seat cover, and and Ohlins steering damper with Harris bracket.

Went out last weekend to give it a quick run and thought I had better come home after the fuel light came on

                        Rich.
If life's an uphill struggle then downhill from now on can't be that bad?!

Summer and winter rides are these, thou the honda seems to have seen more rides this summer than the yam.

                                me too

i have recently moved from a gsxr600 to a xjr1300 and boy what a beast. so much torque and power without the aches and pains, puts the grin factor way up the scale. not attempted knee down on this one yet but im sure it wont be too long coming, just need to get rid of the michelin macadams it came shod with and get a set of 014s on the beast first.
