Hello mate, ive got a 99 Yamaha R1. Go to as many race meetings as i can during the year and done 3 trackdays also, 2 at donnington and 1 at snetterton (my local). Was chuffed with my lap time at snet - 1m 20.6secs, bike is standard apart from race pipe and sticky tyres, managed to annoy a couple of 'instructors' in the process.
Went to the TT last year also.
what about you? any trackdays this year?
I also, as a sideline to my main job as a kitchen designer, do motorcycle artwork. If you have a picture of you and your bike i paint it, either in black and white or full colour. Got a stand at the local bike show in about 4 weeks, hope it goes well.
CBR 600 '97 bought it new. its far better than I will ever be, and i luv it, so its with me long term.
Sadly have not ridden it much last two years due to removing fingers from my left hand with a Table saw last March, and having further plastic surgery last month. Should be back on it again soon I hope.
Hi There,
My name is Tim and i am a motorcyclist!
Got 3 cbr600 (race bikes)
1 bandit 1200
1 vtr 1000
1 billy wizz scooter
I also have the loudest leathers in the world - flourescent yellow and orange, these match the bike!
But my pride and joy is the surf - plus it's safer.
Cheers
Tim

ouch! hope all is well soon and your back 2 riding. good luck!
Mike, bit of a speed junky me, of to Croft in a couple of weeks for a trackday, i ride with an ex 600cc British Supersport champion so get plenty of knee down action on her majesties highways, i am not to bad with a paintbrush either & have done a few drawings/paintings etc. i find i need to be in the right frame of mind though, good luck with the show.
Jeez not good cutting fingers of mate, hope you can get back on yer bike soon, i know i would miss it badly not being able to get for a ride, good luck with your surgery.
Tim, do you do any racing? mind you you live in the right place for it, been there a good number of times at the TT, a bad year this one though for deaths, if you nip down to the point of Ayre with your leathers on i should be able to see you from the Isle of Whithorn LOL!!
& Steve, bet your glad to be back on a bike, just don't leave them again!!
Ciao for now.
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal labotomy
Hi, I got one too! Babyblade (CBR 400RR) hence the handle! Love it to bits, fits me just fine, which is why I chose it over 600 and as someone else said is better than I will ever be, really good fun. Tis a tuff choice between it and Surf though!! Could never choose!

tut, i've only got a little tiny yam rt100 scrambler but going going to look at a kmx/ktm 250 (sorry always get them mixed up) on tues if i can touch the ground tip toe i'm getting it.
GPZ 900R A6, 1989, 15000 miles, shows how much I use it. But every time I ride it, I wonder why I don't do it every day, cos it's great.
ahh, another kwaker owner here to..... mines a GPZ 750 (ZX750A2) brought it new way back in '84. was red and silver, in '87 had it sprayed in moriwaki blue and yellow (blue seat, yellow wheels and all) in honour of a certain bloke called gardiner......heehee.
never seem to get enough time to go out a play though....
