Evenin all!
So Ive got a 2 inch body and 2 inch sus lift running 33's, wheel spacers fitted to clear the inner arch and Im now getting significant interference with the lower rear edge of the wheel arch / wing where the mud flaps bolt on at 3/4 lock (worse with any articulation -even just coming on and off my drive!) and the outer edge of the tyre.
Had a go today at taking the mud flaps off and its quite clear that the edge at the bottom is the problem - the mudflaps were in fact lessening the tyre grabbing the bodywork despite them being worn through so it pretty horrendous now.
Whats the cure? Im considering dressing the edge back with a hammer as I think I probably only need at the most 10mm extra to solve the problem. If I do whats behind the edge? ie body shell or open space and has anyone got any tips as to what they did or indeed another fix?
Hoping the weather will be better tommorrow so I ca give it a go!
