Cambelt every 100000km
Starter repair every 150000km
Tailgate windows are a myriad of issues, the lower runners rust putting excess strain on the gears and motor - check it thoroughly.
I've bought one recently and catching up on ALL maintanance and repairing a few minor simple issues (starter motor, rusted window runners, few little broken interior parts).
It's cost me about €500/£400 in parts and maybe 24 hours of labour.
And so much internet (but smiling)
Happy as its mechanical perfect now.

It seems tailgate windows is a regular bugbear with these. It's not such a big deal i don't think and i imagine fairly straightforward to repair.
I'd be more concerned about big mechanical issues like engines and drivetrain although there's very probably not a lot goes wrong with the 3.0L so long as it's been serviced regularly.
What are the normal service intervals on these and do most of you do an engine oil change in between normal services?
ETA: Cheers Albannach. Now it's time to play!

My Air Filter's spotless, I blame the great big split in the air intake pipe!"B.A." Baracus: "Talk to me, talk sense so I can talk back. Not all this jibberjabber like breaking the peace and all that."

Diesels, especially 20 year old diesels, need oil changes more frequently.
Guess what I'm doing this weekend...."B.A." Baracus: "Talk to me, talk sense so I can talk back. Not all this jibberjabber like breaking the peace and all that."
