Oh dear seems I'm going round in circles and getting dizzy I don't see how I could mix a brand new sealed bottle clearly stating antifreeze on it how I could of got it wrong mate let's agree to disagree on this one. I do have a lil bit left and its now in the freezer to see if it freezes if it doesn't I'll bow my head in shame and state I was wrong.UBIQUE

Hey up again chaps tight replaced rad cap today all is good but silly question for ya. Heaters are scorchio when you drive around it's not overfilling the expansion bottle either now been burp andi think all the air is now out. My question is why at tickover does the heater go lukewarm/cold then when driven goes scorchio again???? It has a new water pump on from rt but it seems like probable cause as soon as the pump spins past idle it picks the heat up straight away or could there still be a bit of air stuck in the system??? Oh on the screenwash/coolant thing it never froze up so I WAS WRONG and so was the lads that looked at it. Strange though I've never seen coolant froth up like it did.UBIQUE

Got to the bottom of the cold air issue at tick over at last it wasn't the pump or the rad or the tstat or the rad cap it's the tstat housing what the rad cap fits to it is sucking air from the rad cap because it doesn't seal properly on the housing so I need a new housing if anybody has one going spareUBIQUE
