Well not from Roughtrax and not from the lad on here either mate got it for a decent price in all so once it's here and fitted I'll let ya know how it holds up and if it's any good then I'll give ya all the details about it
Well I can do 70mph now without the engine spewing it's guts over the engine bay,and I have'nt had to top up the coolant since, so I guess,,,,,, Yeh It's not bad
Thats a very unusual place to crack, it's always where the other have said, between the valves.
If I had to guess I'd say it was an uprated head that has got frigging hot and just cracked there. There is no way an original head wouldn't have cracked in the weak spot bewteen the valves before cracking across the face like that.
The 3.0's sometimes crack like that.

I must admit Tony yes it got frigging hot I honestly thought it was gona shoot the engine out the bay when it boiled over it was like a whistling kettle for ages. I am also inclined to agree that it wasn't a standard head plus it had been skimmed I didn't think you could skim the 2.4head???? Ive never had it skimmed so looks like the previous owner from 6years ago had head pronlems Either way I'm happy I found the source of my troubles at last
