Haven't you been told about thinking?

You could always try my technique,

        it's not highly recommended,

        but it works.

Like I tried telling you last night by using the example of other dangerous things you shouldn't do but as you missed the point then and still do not seem to understand.

            Let me repeat myself.

The gas/liquid mix that WILL come out will either fall in droplets or condense onto your hands arms or whatever other body parts you have exposed as the mixture will have a lower boiling point than you it will suck the heat from you this will leave you with cold burns add to this the possibility that the lubricating oil in the system will have an acidic level aswell oh yeah and the gas is toxic so please do not breathe it in.

Take it down to ur local wefit or whatever and pay the guys to reclaim the gas.If you lived nearer I would do it for free being a so called "specialist".

There you have the options the diy route unlawful and possibly harmfull,or the safe legal route.
I foolishly ventured a similar opinion regarding the release of these gases a while back & got slagged off for it. Sorry to say this but, you're just peeing in the wind with this one.
I guess one or two are wondering when I'd stick my tuppence worth in!

Legionaires disease is not caused by A/C. It's found in 'cooling towers' & not all are A/C cooling towers either. These cooling towers are gradually been phased out thankfully.

Again not totally true ......It can be found in puddles on the street ..... and in your house

It is only a issue when inhaled as droplets in the air

Cooling towers are just a small part of it and it's thinking like that that put's people at risk .......
