2 stroke oil additive

Hi,
Anybody using 2 stroke oil as an additive for better fuel performance etc in their 130 knz engines. Any idea of the pro's and con's of trying this ?

I did hear something about the Fuel manufacturers taking the lubricating agents etc out of diesel, and that the addition of the two stroke oil not only lengthens the life of the engine but also gives an increased MPG.

Is it pie in the sky buggering up your engine or would it be a good idea

I've read a couple of things on the net regarding using 2 stroke oil. I doubt it would do much harm in small quantities BUT what bothers me is that 2 stroke oil is red. Consequently, won't your fuel start to look like red diesel & we all know the penalties for using that.....

Thanks for putting that up Surfer Ross, Thanks for sharing that info, I'll give it a go the next time i fill up.

I suppose there's always gonna be someone to poo poo the idea, but why if it's gonna save your engine and make it cheaper to run ?????????

Thats only your opiniun though mate, there are loads of people all over the planet doing it and getting good results, so it must work !!!!!!!

How can a fuel that costs 4 times as much as diesel make it cheaper to run?
