A few thousand fit 'resistor chips' for extra power - I KNOW that doesn't work. Thousands drop little balls of 'special metal' in their fuel tanks and claim 30% better mpg - also bullsh1t.

Just cos people do it doesn't mean what they are doing works. People are sheep in general and will believe what they are told by people they perceive as intelligent.

You'll save more money buying your fuel from your local supermarket instead of BP/Shell/Texaco/etc. (or the local Chinese takeaway)

I did notice something earlier that said there were a few characters or nutters on this forum, not sure weather i've found them yet , but it sure did make me chuckle.

Did you get it pierced, put an earth magnet thouh the hole and start wearing steel toe cap boots?
And I think I now understand the reason for the tinfoil hat - when you're not wearing your steel toe caps (at night) It makes it point in the right direction!

Delving into the Roughtrax website to get a few bits and saw the " Forte Diesel fuel treatment. This looks like a great product if it does what it says in the spec' ?

Do you Guy's use this or a similar product regularly on service intervals? If so is there a lot of difference in Fuel consumption , Preformance etc?

I see in the spec that it does lubricate various parts of the engine, so i guess it must be an oil based product with cleaning additives ???
