thats phantoms truck but i bought the wheels from him to go on mine.I have got to fit a 3" body lift and 6" suspension lift to fit those 39" wheels/tyres on.Hopefully it will all be done for Avalanche

I don't think I'd have the patience to do all that.

When out for a weekend offroading, I nearly always sleep in the back of the truck as it nearly always p1sses down all weekend (Wales you see). Its fun waking up warm and dry, hearing the hail battering on the roof and looking through the windows to see the tattered ruins of tents all around and miserable campers huddled under trees

My thoughts as well

I would only sleep in a tent if I really had too, the truck and a shorty sprung mattress is just so comfy.

Apache is usually comprehensively "refreshed" when he camps. He'd sleep in the glovebox and say it was comfy.
but as all above, put the seats down blow up your bed and it's very comfy. Yoshie and bushwhacker have a tent that fits across the back to give you some living space.

Ive no idea on the make of the wheels but the tyres are 39x14.5x16 i think it is.

I'm a Cabanon man myself, but they don't do easy pitch tents and they can't be accused of being cheap.

I've got a 3 man Geodesic for dossing in, have a big cheap flimsy thing that I hate (so don't use) and have just bought one of the ones for the back of the truck. Might get one of those Quechua things for this year, if they are as easy to use and as good as you all say.

Or I may get that Ozwhatever thing, it looks quite good? Expensive is a relative thing, I don't think £600 is too dear for a good tent; if it's used often.
