Blow up mattress may be a bit over the top for me sleeping bag and polystyrene roll should do

Sounds like the best reason to do it - the day my mate and myself visited Poole to pick up the surf, we missed the last ferry back to Belfast. Visited Asda and bought some cheap duvets (very necessary!) and kipped down without a problem.

Sorry peeps, i just tried to copy a pic from the external hard drive & paste onto here & it won't do it. That's the easy way ruled out, but i'm sure there's a less direct route that prob works.

it has to be below a certain size... you can either resize it in "paint" or upload to photobucket and link from there... or email it and get someone else to post it

Well, I have the Quechua (double skin), a 3 man Vango for when the weather is likely to be really sh1tty, and a six man, 3 bedroom igloo for when I need to take family. The Quechua gets by far the most use, and is, despite what some have said, fine in poor weather.

When out for a weekend offroading, I nearly always sleep in the back of the truck as it nearly always p1sses down all weekend (Wales you see). Its fun waking up warm and dry, hearing the hail battering on the roof and looking through the windows to see the tattered ruins of tents all around and miserable campers huddled under trees

The Surf is a VERY comfortable place to be in nasty weather!

Didn't realise quechua made tents that expensive, I always thought they specialised in the £20-40 range - I may have been too harsh.

To be honest you're always going to get what you pay for with a tent - just cos it only cost you £20 in Tescos doesn't mean you got a good deal. If you use it often enough, £150 can easily be just a few quid a night, and if your nights are dry and cosy as a result it's worth while.
