Maybe your front bumper has received a knock in the past?

Im running 265/75 r16 on a 3rd gen. I installed 2.5 inch coil spacers recently but even without this mod i was only getting a tiny bit of rubbing.
Just get a cheap body lift from Rtrax? £57 i think for the kit.

Is it worth a measurement from the back of the bumper to the centre of the hub? Just to see if this is the issue.

my standard tyres were rubbing on the inside edge of the bumper, the springs were shot, sounds like the garage dont have a clue. I changed mine and gave it a 2" inch lift, no more probs

you have to consider uneven road surface if the shocks and springs are fubar then the smallest bump will cause it catch the tyre
